A small inconspicuous incision at the base of the nose is used to shape the nasal bones and cartilages. This is done under direct visualization to maximize control. Changes made in this patient included taking down the dorsal hump and refining the nasal tip. Cartilage is used from the septum to create structural support for the airway.
